Ambassador Bible College emerges from the rich legacy of Parkersburg Bible College, founded in 1985 by Dr. Joseph Nelson. For over four decades, our institution has equipped faithful ministry leaders with sound theological education grounded in Scripture.
Today, under Dr. Brian Reid’s leadership, we continue this legacy with renewed passion, combining time-tested academic rigor with innovative online learning — now serving students across 22 countries.

PRESIDENT & PROFESSOR OF BIBLICAL THEOLOGY
Dr. Brian Reid
Dr. Brian Reid brings decades of international ministry experience and academic excellence to ABC. Born in Jamaica and shaped by ministry across the Caribbean, Middle East, and North America, Dr. Reid combines cross-cultural wisdom with rigorous biblical scholarship.
His journey includes theological education from Kingston to Jerusalem, where he deepened his understanding of Scripture in its original languages and historical context. Under his leadership, ABC has expanded its reach, serving students across 22 countries.
Dr. Reid holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology, specializing in Pauline literature and systematic theology.

Our Statement of Faith
What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, fully inerrant in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority for all faith, doctrine, and practice in the Church.
We believe in one God, who is absolutely one—uniquely and numerically one (Deuteronomy 6:4). God is an indivisible Spirit, infinite in power, holy in nature, and perfect in all His ways.
We believe that the one God of the Old Testament, Yahweh, was manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ, (I Timothy 3:16). He is fully God and fully sinless-man, the visible image of the invisible God, born of a virgin.
We believe the Holy Spirit is God at work in us, empowering believers for sanctification, adoption, and transformation.
We believe salvation is by grace, through faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ. A person must be born again – born of water and of the Spirit (John 3:3–5). This new birth is the response to the gospel, expressed in Acts 2:38, through repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and receiving the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Church is a called out body of believers – a community of all who have obeyed the gospel and been born again. The Church exists to worship God, edify believers, and spread the gospel to all nations.
We believe in the literal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ. At His coming, the dead in Christ will rise, and those who are alive will be caught up to meet Him in the air (1 Corinthians 15:51–55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18).
We believe all people will stand before Jesus Christ for final judgment. Those who have obeyed the gospel will enter eternal life; those who reject it will face eternal separation.
